Practical, sourced, and clear about uncertainty
Our growing articles prioritize university extension services and relevant public institutions. Sources are linked beside each article. We distinguish a mathematical estimate from a horticultural recommendation, and do not promise a yield or a universal planting date.
How to use the advice
Check local conditions, your crop variety, seed-packet instructions, and current regional advice. A tool that counts bags cannot test soil. A calendar calculation cannot predict frost. When a problem has several possible causes, investigate before treating.
Original explanations and transparent imagery
Articles, checklists, worked examples, and illustrations are created for this publication. Photographer credits, source links, and product artwork disclosures appear on the credits page. The site does not present the person pictured as a credentialed expert or customer testimonial.
Commercial links
Our free and paid product links lead to our own Gumroad listings. Product promotions are labeled. We do not use invented reviews, ratings, or scarcity claims.
Corrections
